What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Question  -

Which do you regard as better (a relative term arguably where 'The Quo' are concerned), this or Blue For You and the Mystery Song?

Piledriver,Quo,On The Level and Blue for You are to me the golden era of Status Quo. On The Level stands out to me on a personal level as it reminds me of great times growing up in London and staying with my Aunt who looked after me for a while.

Before I forget: the performances are mind blowing, among the best I've heard from her. Where her impromptus are taking the roundabout route to the soul (impressive as they are), she is admirably direct in both works here, recalling the young Perahia. (And by the time Perahia got around to recording D.960, he had lost some of his earlier simplicity - so Pires has the field alone here. Perhaps Lupu is a better comparison).

World Service Project - Tribraco (Not available on Am*z*n it seems...)

Very interesting stuff. I found it at the bottom of a pile of unplayed CDs along with their Redivider.
