What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Surely not. Harvest dates from 1972 and I'm pretty sure that the first 'digital' LP was Ry Cooder's 'Bop 'Til You Drop' from 1979.

Fraser

'Harvest' is a wonderful recording and yes, 'Bop 'till You Drop', although a first digital-digital recording, sounds good too.

'Harvest Moon' possibly Debs?. G

I meant Harvest Moon.

It must be catching Graeme.

What an exhilarating live performance. Hard to believe he was so gravely ill when this recording was make.

Pity that the sound quality is only a historical grade. ( it was cleaned up from an amateur recording taken from the live feed )

A liitle relaxation following a hard session of gardening and an early lunch. I'm not a huge female vocal fan but Ella has the voice of an angel.
