What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Floridante needs two great altos to work, and here we get Mijanovic and Di Donato - luxury.

I've just been hunting for this on cd and looking for an early pressing.  1996 seems the most readily available and I'm guessing that's not a 1st pressing - but how does it sound? G

Hi Graeme.

Unfortunately cannot help you regarding the CD SQ. My copy of  ELP is a 1970 1st press 'LP' on the pink Island  label. I am sure some people on the forum will be able to help regarding the best CD reissue. Good luck with your quest.   G

After listening to The Little Willies' cover of 'Jolene', it made me want to listen to Mindy Smith and her version (with Dolly Parton).
