Two from this morning. I'm really enjoying revisiting my Blue Horizon record collection inspired by the Blues thread.

 

 

 

Both superb albums that are now available on CD and download.

Saw them last on this tour. Had the whole of Murryfield stadium in the palm of 'their' hand. The cantilevered bridge to the small 'boxing ring' stage in the centre of the crowd was the highlight. G

Handel's vast operatic output does include a couple of clunkers. Siroe just misses that mark, but there is little of the musical invention and characterization that makes his operas stand out from his contemporaries. The performance is good.
