Having been lucky enough to see Lotte Mullan perform recently. She was the 'opener' for Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo at the Hoxton Hall back in March. I can vouch for her talents as a song writer, a musician, a vocalist and a performer. I recommend this album without reservation and when you have bought it and got to know it, you will too. I also recommend that you go see Lotte perform and when you do, take the cd along with you and she will happilly chat and sign it for you, as she did mine.

Inspired me to listen to listen to Righteous by Dag. Excellent album if you like a bit of Funk Rock. Contains the track LOVELY JANE.
..the ECM sound - if you are looking for a definition, nice but no surprises..
..but before the ECM sound I started with something rough and raw...., will need a couple of spins, I might not like it or start deeply loving it...

Haim, she was an outstanding singer, but her Bach disc and the live recital from Ravinia add a poignancy, you can hear she had seen death up close and that it was coming for her soon, too as well.

Pure pleasure; Naims love this instrument a lot.
Seems ladies have a special sense of early keyboard music.
Arrived this morning (Vinyl + CD) First play of side 1 sounds wonderful.
