What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

After uncounted listenings - still mesmerizing.

Last track No.13; having coffee; volume needs higher and higher; now 11 o'clock position; when Godard starts his strange-shaped 'serpent' ; thin coffe-cup - spoon inside - starts to resonate gently.

Listening to the below at the moment, another album a customer bought in, I would never have thought it was my kind of music, Arabian Trumpet jazz, but I absolutely love it, well worth a listen if you haven't tried it -

Ibrahim Maalouf - Diagnostic

... followed by Sutherland's second recording. She was audibly near the end of her career by the time of this recording, and that's a rather noticeable stain on an otherwise very good recording.

Young Horowtiz's Listz B Minor Sonata.

Surprisingly good sounding considering the original recording date of 1932.
