What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Well who cares what the CD looks like anyway!

A recently issued CD, The Lightening Raiders 'Sweet Revenge', a London band from the early 80s whose debut album has finally been released by Rock Candy. If you like a bit of hard and fast rock, great songs and hooks, you will love this. Think MC5 / Pink Fairies (Larry Wallis era). A breathe of fresh air on a cold spring day!

Introducing my 8 year old daughter to some real music! She's singing along already without ever having heard it before.
