What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

A fascinating recording of a quartet led by a 26 years old Aaron Diehl playing a Fiazoli Grand Piano along with Rodney Green (drums), David Wong (bass) and Warren Wolf (vibraphone).

Highly recommended. The youtube piece of the quartet is not part of this disc.

Very 60's.  It's like a highly entertaining Twilight Zone Episode.

Excellent sounding 2-Eye reissue.
