My mood dictates some Russian music for Cello and Piano and Bertrand and Amoyel are my welcome guests this evening.

Didn't know this Recording exist

you would recomend it?

Yes it really is very nice : )

but has you 'stereo' copy got the dreaded click half way though "I'm Old Fashioned" side-two track-two which lasts for a minute or so during a fairly quiet piano and bass passage?

Seems to have been quite a big batch made with the click on : (

Debs

Yes Debs I have got the stereo side two click. The mono is fine . Also the label is ripped on side two of my mono disc. Still good for a £5

The Opium Cartel "Night Blooms"

On CD. Nothing like a bit of baroque when one is steam-cleaning the kitchen on a Sunday morning (while hung over):

Debs,

Haim

Thanks, Haim,

yes, i'm looking up Aaron Diehl,

this trio looks interesting,

even a Mozart Jazz disc too...

Meanwhile; back on your favourite Bill Evans Trio,

very sweet of them to name an album after me : )

Debs

A spectacular album! I hope you have its partner 'Sunday at the Village Vanguard' too, which is equally sublime.
