This is the first and only copy I have heard.
On top of that I am currently running in a replacement XX2 cartridge so it is hard to give an opinion.
Not sounding too bad presently though!

The SR80i's are great, fantastic soundstage, if you live alone. Sound leakage is so bad that the cat moved next door. 
They are great cans though.
