What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

On vinyl.

Why? It's a sonic experiment to see how loud I take it. Doesn't dub sound better with a lot of volume!

I used to listen to this albums back in the 70's under very different circumstances. After all these years, it's good to have a good listen with a different perpective and mind set. Still a brilliant album if only for the bass and drums players. Essential listening!

Great music for chilling on a summertime Friday evening and BBQ'ing dinner.  Now if the wind would just pick up a little to keep the mosquitoes away it would be perfect

Now onto some classic Nick Drake - Made to Love Magic.  Perfect for a warm summer's night and relaxing.

Still more summer eve music.

Final installment of Nick Drake for the night, great way to close off dinner on a summer eve.

Picking it up a notch while relaxing with a cold beer or two on a great summer's eve.
