What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Is that vinyl box set any good G? (in terms of SQ, not presentation).

Hi Kevin.

I have been intending to review this box set, just not got around to it. IMO the SQ is superb, all the five pressings are silent & flat, with no panning to my ears. However, I have none of the originals to measure them against. The artwork on all the albums is as near to the originals as possible with all the original inserts etc. All in all I am very pleased.

Hope to see you soon, take care.

How is it compared to the original pressing?

Could you look on the back to see who did the mastering?

Thanks!
