What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Renee - Reaching for the sky. Released on Aloi Records, which according to the sleeve is a division of Linn Records.

Claims to be of superior quality due to IEMA cutting system and VDC stampers. It does sound very good, the bass is solid.

Feeling sad.

ENT told me today I  may have to have a second operation to the middle ear (always threatening the quality of hearing).
