What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Mono vinyl

I have been rediscovering Eric Burdon.

From early Animals on 60's vinyl with some great simple recordings in MONO of course!

Followed by his more recent LPs from this millenium with some really good blues and soul as well as other vibes!

It all sounds fantastic and I could catch a wiff of woodbines and Newcastle Brown from the early 60s!

So hats off to Linn-Naim-B&W for making the experience!

If he ever plays in Europe I'll be there!
