What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

I'm liking it a lot. Very mellow and 'laid back' compared to pretty much any of her output.

Delightful singing and the vinyl is perfection on toast.

Very impressive pressing.

I wonder if this will be as hard to get on vinyl later on as Supernature is now?

... and watching Joe Bonamassa from NY Beacon Theatre via Sky Arts, and very good it is too. Beth Hart, Paul Rogers and John Hiatt have guest spots.

Nice album (listening on Spotify). Another Charlie Haden duo album, this time with Keith Jarrett on piano, worth a hearing:

I can thoroughly recommend this album. If you liked the Un- Plugged tracks on  Barton Hollow such as Billie Jean you will love this album. Its sublime, two voices in perfect harmony.

On Vinyl. (Its what your Naim was made for)..

From Naim's own label. Listen out for Inner Babylon from this one - it's an absolute stormer of a track!
