My 2nd or so listen to this, and finding it marvelously mellow.

Very classy vinyl too.

The price goes up and down like a yoyo but you've thinking of buying a copy it's presently on Amazon uk for £16.99 + free delivery option - but hurry at that price.

Lenid Kogan's first US studio recording with Monteux/Boston Symphony.

 

Khachaturian's Violin Concerto is mysterious and bitter sweet. Reminds me of 40's film like 'Portrtait of Jennie'.

 

A heavy Eastern European folk song influence throughout.
