The Essential Jimmy Rushing.... This is a great 'blues and jazz' album & recording from 1974.
On original double vinyl.

Have this on vinyl and it is growing on me quickly.
The content is very good but the SQ is bass heavy and sounds enhanced which is a bit overpowering.
A shame really as it is a cracking album.

I have her other two albums (on CD). This one appears to be out of print. What year is it from? Worth tracking down used?

It is from 2003 I don't think it is as good an album as her later stuff but still worth tracking down but very rare.

Yes, I was attracted to this by the catchy tune from the Peugeot 2008 advert, don't suppose I'm the only one, but the album is rich, varied and a bit different. I'm enjoying it.
Both the Tingvall discs are really good Ber. Have you heard Martin Tingvall's solo disc? My favourite disc of theirs is Vagen
