What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread. I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.
Anyway, links:

The Temper Trap "Temper Trap, Acoustic Sessions" ep
For anyone who enjoys The Temper Trap, this acoustic ep
is a must-have. I so wish it was longer.
Jeff. Were did you find this? It is not on Amazon UK .
Regards Graham.
Graham I think it is only available through itunes or directly from their Aus/Nz store.
Ewen is correct about iTunes, which is where I got it. With the quieter accompaniment, the
vocals are just amazing. Hauntingly good.

Thank's to both of you.
Graham.
Graham.
You are welcome, Graham. If you get it, I hope you enjoy it.
Good listenin'

Thought I ought to widen my collection of Free albums and have just acquired this one.

Right The Stars "Right The Stars"
(Rich Jacque)
First play.

Bob Dylan "MTV Unplugged"

Seal IV - another recent addition to my Seal collection. This one is different in style to his earlier albums with greater emphasis to his vocals and use of backing strings. I'm enjoying it.
Love Her Madly - The Doors - because I saw this photo:

Don't ya love her madly
Don't ya need her badly
Don't ya love her ways
Tell me what you say
Don't ya love her madly
Wanna be her daddy
Don't ya love her face
Don't ya love her as she's walkin' out the door
Like she did one thousand times before
Don't ya love her ways
Tell me what you say
Don't ya love her as she's walkin' out the door
All your love
All your love
All your love
All your love
All your love is gone
So sing a lonely song
Of a deep blue dream
Seven horses seem to be on the mark
Yeah, don't you love her
Don't you love her as she's walkin' out the door
All your love
All your love
All your love
Yeah, all your love is gone
So sing a lonely song
Of a deep blue dream
Seven horses seem to be on the mark
Well, don't ya love her madly
Don't ya love her madly
Don't ya love her madly

Didn't know about this album until I saw this thread many pages ago - got it last week on vinyl and love it as you say best played loud FangflossFlyer!

Siri's Svale Band - probably the only Norwegian band in my collection. A lovely bit of jazz and fortunately for me the vocals are in English.

Mandy Moore "Amanda Leigh"
..this is an absolute recommendation, gentle and lyrical is for me one of the better albums of this year...

Thanks for posting this, Bert. I was wondering about the Parks album not being sure with the 30 seconds bits I was able to sample.

Every time I listen to this disc I am reminded of its recording's quality, the sound being so transparent.

Have to agree with everything Bert has said about this album. One of my albums of the year.
I guess who likes the Cologne Concert or the Sun Bear Concerts - will also like this one, good stuff....

Yes. The quality of the recording is superb. I first came across it at a Hi-Fi show many years ago when many of the exhibitors were using it for that reason.

On the Black Sunday morning cool jazz
