With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Led Zep I from this collection.  You Shook Me, Dazed and Confused  and Your Time is Gonna Come sound particularly wonderful. My enjoyment of this album, and the other early Led Zep albums, was at its peak when I used to play it on vinyl very many years ago on a system comprising Ariston 80/LVX/Elite700/A&R60/Heybrook HB2s.  Such a pleasure to have that magic back on CD.

Original Atlantic vinyl. I haven't played this or the David Crosby LP since I installed the 500 back in May. Boy do the harmonies sound good now.
