What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Debs

Same family, Debs.  Louis came earlier and did not last long, dying at the age of 35 in 1661. First impression is that his music is a little denser and slower in flow than the compositions of Francois.

This is a piece performed by my favorite harpsichordist, Gustav Leonhardt, who passed away last year:

Vingt Regards Sur L'Enfant-Jesus

Not for the faint hearts nor for casual listening, otherwise just an outstanding landscape of emotions and faith.
