What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread. I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Yes, i'm finding the double vinyl highly enjoyable [not to mention a slight warp on one of mine] various artists that in the main are very good typical 70s electro, and somehow very French sounding too, and with a couple of duff and a few extra-fabulous tunes thrown in.
The CD however is a waist of comic space, engineered far to LOUDED for my sensitive ears!

Haven't played the CD, I only used it to put the album on my iPod.
On vinyl, "Neu! '75" inspired by Michael Rother's magnificent concert last night:

Oops!, i mean waste, not waist!
My Cosmic Machine CD has just ended and i've reloaded the cd5x with Rubycon, a far more serious but very engaging electro, and obviously far superior in digital sound engineering terms.
Can now raise the 552 volume and plunge into the depths
This music spooks my cats.

It's 20 years today since Frank passed away.
Although the new Bob Dylan LPs arrived today I needed something to chill out to after a busy day.
If the first couple of tracks are anything to go by this is going to turn out to be a bargain.
im having a "Digital Dump" courtesy of The Jackofficers.
and also Magic Mushroom Band Rehash on the 'dek.
I'm having an analog dump. Hmm, skidmarks.
