Grooving on Lipatti's soothing Bach. Rather nice especially after being hit over the head by Landowska repeatedly.

Prompted by Sorren's earlier post. I haven't listened to this in a while and I'm now reminded how good an album it is.

Remaster: One of the very few bought this year. Luckly, at least mine, was a good pressing.

That's so cool that JV listened to Carly. ( such a girly choice ) 
Yes, JV had some unusual ideas (for his time !) and tastes in music. He persuded me to buy an LP12 as well as the 12/160 and this record was one of several that helped demonstrate why the source was so important. His LP12/Rega Arm/Ortofon v my Pioneer PL12D (or possibly Rega Planar 2)/ShureM75 IIRC. His won !

Hi MDS. I'm doing the same at the moment, listening to albums I haven't played for a while and remembering all over again why I liked them in the first place. You can't beat a bit of Genesis

just a question, is the female lead singer English? I only ask because these guys are from San Fransisco but she certainly sings with an English accent???????????? Or has th Port got the better of me?

I have been told, more than one occasion, if you want to get laid, play Carol King or Carly Simon.
An easy pick after a week with no music.
