Being a Beatles fan, a couple of things on this list surprised me;

1)     had the list shown only the top 25 LPs, Abbey Road would not have made it,

2)     Queen, Shania Twain, and Celine Dion have made LPs that outsold Abbey Road,

3)     The Beatles best selling LP is from this century,

4)     “Beatles 1” has sold more copies than “The Wall”,

5)     There are three soundtracks on the list.

My guess is Abbey Road has a better chance to crack the 30M mark than any of the other four LPs in front of it.  Fun stuff, for what it's worth.

MJ still seems to rule the sales lists despite the unfortunate turn his life took after all the success (and it's likely that his achievements in this respect are never reached by any other artist).

Like him or not, there are no all-round entertainers on that list which can hold a candle to him.

Definitely can see the trend away from album purchases over the last decade or so.
