+1 ... I don't use The Facebook either, it is so last decade ...
I do have the albums on the strip on the front ...
Same here with the FaceSpam. Anybody got another route in? I wouldn't mind seeing the list/taking the quiz.
I am always curious as two who compiles these lists......these 100 seem quite a decent list although there seems to be a dearth of music before the 60's if we are talking 'influential'.
Cheers,
Jason.
38. Surely all music that someone has heard before going on to create music of their own could be considered influential in some way.
I am filled with pride that I don't own some of those albums.
38 also.
65 for me.
Most definitely Everton for ever! Where was the Z-cars theme tune???
A meagre 20. I wouldn't be "influenced" to buy many of them either!
25.
I don't use Facebook now either, isnt it all a bit passé now? Anyway can someone post the list of albums? I suspect i won't agree with the categorisation, but I might be wrong.. I hope it has Kraftwek Autobahn / kling Klang, and a smattering of Trevor Horn productions.
61 for me.
There were some rather odd choices in there, by the likes of Ride and Smashing Pumpkins - have they actually influenced anyone?
13
Not a single Black Sabbath or Deep Purple album in the list.
14 - I'm not easily influenced! G
42. Nice to see John Cale Paris 1919 & The Incredible String Band.
Graham.
40 for me and my sleep pattern will not be affected. Those I didn't have were either unknown or didn't like.
55 for me
Still don't know who decided the list and whether it as any real value ?
I hope someone can post the list -- I do have a FB account but don't ever let any of these sites to it. Right up front they say they can "post on my behalf" etc etc.
32 for me. If I had to compile a top 500 there are a lot on that list I wouldn't consider for that. Why are they considered influential? Oasis, The Smiths, The The. What did they influence? I guess Morrissey helped flower sales.
