Naim flight club

Well guys, we have the motorbike thread, and then the car nostalgia.

How about a he thread for all the aircraft  enthusiasts.

I believe we might have the odd helicopter owner, and also have a few pilots on the forum

How about those who just like aircraft.

Can we post some great images of aircraft that are either owned, flown or just admired by forum members.

Looking forward to some great images

Paul

Hi Don,

Did your nephew ever do any helicopter piloting in Alaska?  If so do you know where?

Oh, and shouldn't it be Mrs. A?

I believe he only did one short season in Juneau. I don't think he did anything else up there. He spent most of his time in Florida.

Yes, I suppose technically it should be Mrs A, but since she is called Diane, we tend to get stuck with Mr & Mrs D. Funny old world.

I've run around quite a bit of Alaska in helicopters, thought I might have met him.  I was in Juneau from 1986-90.  We flew with Temsco.

He is only about 26 years old. He was in the USA from about 2006 to 2009. He then spent the next 2 years or so flying oil workers to/from North Sea oil rigs and the last 2 years doing search and rescue based in Shetland.

Cheers
