Funny but kinda sad in a way.
I bet there is a lot of *trueism* in this.

It all sounds great as an MP3.

There was a Simpson's episode where Bart & friends were in a boy band with electronically enhanced voices. Subliminal messages for Uncle Sam were also added to the music.

That is brilliant! Where is it from?

Not sure the original source but I got the link from a sound engineer's personal Facebook page.

Auto-tunes-R-us!

Comes in handy for an opera singer who can't quite hit a high C.

Sadly it's probably truly reflective of what goes on today. I have the worst singing voice in history and I bet they could make me sound acceptable. But it's so false.

Dear Doctor Steve,

The voice [and musicianship] is not important, so long as you would be a good looking minor body builder who can dance and keep hold of a mic whilst miming to your perfected backing tape. Sad but true.

Modern pop has nothing to offer the music lover apart from the judgement of the recording and production teams.
