A questionable mental state

Ladies & Gents,

Everyone goes through difficult times in life - whether love, bereavement, work etc. for me it's women

I personally find that music often brings relief to everyday problems and would appreciate some positive tales. (Currently listening to Fink "Pretty Little Thing")

I am fortunate to be retired & life is just so ee-zy right now.

I did the lurve stuff a while back & now seem to have that fixed for some time

Bereavement - thank goodness - has not given me problems as I am so blessed with only natural old age passings with a family line that seems to hit the 90's every time.

When I was working I was in a high power exec technical problem solving big team man-mngt type job & found I was well able to switch off no matter how serious & never lost a minutes sleep.

My woman ???   she drives me sane.

I have a list of records that works every time that do give that little special extra reelax mood,  but the few I would select before others to help the mood & soften the edges  .................

John Huling,   nice native american flute & drum mood material with backgrounds of nature, birds wolves wind water.  Mesa Sunrise is a nice "best of" if you want one to try.

FourPlay, excellent light easy listening contemporary jazz quartet with funk & R&B.  Any of them will do it for me.

Greetings Mr P.

Your thread title could apply to a lot of us audiophiles hereabouts!

Apart from the waffle about the kit; our strange addiction should essentially be about the music and its  ability to take us to another place.

Hopefully your music is providing some solace and distraction at this difficult time for you.

John.
