AV2/Unitilite Connection
Posted by: Charles Paterson on 13 February 2013
Hi, I'm on the verge of adding a Unitilite & was hoping for a bit of advice on the best connection & what cable should I get.
Any advice will be welcome.
Thanks, Charlie

Hi Charles.
Copied and pasted from the FAQ - Accessories packed with Naim Equipment:
"AV2 - 180 DIN5-DIN5 Interconnect (yellow Band – 2way), AV/DVD remote, mains lead"
The 180 DIN5-DIN5 should be with your AV2 and is the cable that goes into the AV input of most Naim Pre amps that support the Unity Gain feature. I don't know the specs on the UnitiLite, so you would have to check that it has it.
Cheers,
Rack.

Many thanks for the reply.
Looking at the manual it only has Phono inputs so it would have to be a DIN to Phono, It's whether you can buy one ready made or would it have to be made on order.
Thanks, Charlie

Have a search for a company called Flashback cables and see what the owner, Dave can come up with or suggest. He's a specialist in replacement Naim type cables. Many on here including me, have had various cables made up and the prices are more than reasonable.

Rack
