Steven Wilson Grace for drowning WAV from HD tracks. Absolutely phenomenal on the NDS. Even with bell wire 552 to 500 cables .

Privateering by Mark Knopfler - Hi Res: has anyone bought it and is it a decent high res version?

Im wary of splashing my money on the hi-res version after a few disappointing experiences with hi-res downloads.

And Qobuz isnt showing it as a 'guaranteed' version, so I would rather hear a review from someone that has it already.

(didnt think I would ever like Mark Knopfler, but I really enjoyed this this morning!)

Some of the Doors new releases on HDTracks are my latest.  I know, there are far too many Doors releases already!  But I love the music so I had to try.

I think that these releases are very very good. I also enjoy the Steve Hoffman remastered releases.  There are just differences, and everyone will have their own preferences.  The revelation of detail in the HDTracks versions is astounding, and that does seem to be the yin to the yang of the slightly more "warmth" of the Hoffman remasters.  Again, both highly listenable and enjoyable, but different.

Oh and the Eagles HDTracks recent releases are pretty outstanding too.  These are the only versions of these I own (other than Hotel California).
