Does anyone else own a copy of this?

Original 1972 double album. It's absolutely brilliant.
How come I never came across this record before?
My mate Tim bought it when it was first released. I guess he still plays it on his 401.

Yep. I bought a copy at a record fair maybe 20+ years ago.
According to Wikipedia, only 20000 copies were pressed. I can't say that I have played it in a long time; it was one of those "buy it to see what the fuss was about, and it's not easy to get, so I might as well get it" purchases.
Yep, me also. I haven't played it in years.
oh yes, and good fun it is too. Like the others more a record I find at intervals and give an enjoyable spin to rather than a constant play. I think 20 odd years ago it was a more regular play!
The recent CD re-issue has the full concert, though they've done something with the mix that rips the guts out of what is possibly Man's finest moment, Spunk Rock. It also fails to deliver the missing 10 minutes from thebeginning of that track, though that's because the tape wasn't running.
There was an earlier CD with just the original Man tracks that utterly nailed it.
Yes-bought on release and a real favourite
much played- the recordings captures the real sound of Hawkwind and Man- probably the best live recordings of Man.
Hawkwinds' Silver Machine comes from same gig-much re-recorded and completely new lyrics, the original recording is on the Cd release
Brinsley Schwarz are also good. Less said about Magic Michael though.
There is also a Greasy Truckers 2-Live at Dingwalls Dance Hall with Gong, Camel, Henry Cow and Global Village Trucking Company
Greasy Truckers also live on, in 2002/2003t here was a live tour with Space Ritual and Tractor
Happy Trucking
