New SuperUniti 2

Parallel to the new Uniti 2 there are rumours of a new SuperUniti 2. Does anyone have any further details?
I hope these are just rumours as I parted with £3250 yesterday and ordered a Superuniti to replace my ageing 92/90 combo!
Peter, the thread was from 6 months ago. If there was truth in it then I think we'd have found out by now. Sometimes people like to stir the rumour pot and see what jumps out. While there may well be a Superuniti 2 along at some point in the future - next year, year after, three years from now? Who knows? I haven't heard of anything coming at the moment.
It is quite likely that there will be SuperUniti2 (there is NU2, UQ2, … ). However, I would say it is due next spring earliest (if the previous release pattern is followed).

I think there is a confusion because of names, we have just introduced Supernait 2, Superuniti has been out around a year, a little early to bring out a new model

Why? Are you looking to sell or buy one, if it's the latter, buy one 
Naim themselves say that Naim only makes a new product, if it significantly improve on the older one.
But Chrome number NAP 250, and NAC 82, and NAC 52 are still very desirable pieces of kit? Are they not? Even if there is a SU2, does it instantly make the SU sound bad?
Naturally enough, there is always an incremental improvement of models over time, but if you compare the old top line with the new mid-line then sometimes you are in for a surprise!
Sometimes I think that the 52 at least from the old days, really prefigured the more modern sounds of the new series across the board.
Certainly the 52 pointed towards the future, and for a while was the pre-amp that would have been matched with the NAP 500, before the arrival of the NAC 552. Not surprisingly the 52/500 combo was superb, even if the 52 was by no means the newest model to partner with the 500!

Right - this could get exciting.
With the launch of Muso, Naim is introducing a lot of new features, like Airplay and a new nStream/control app... a lot of things you would expect on the SU2.
So I don't expect a new SU2 before sept 2014 (when the Muso is launched)
