Missed live opportunity – how depressing is that?

Today Gary Clark Jr. will be playing in this town and I feel a little bit depressed because I was stupid and late and did not buy the ticket for this concert in time (sold out already quite awhile ago). He has received raving reviews recently. Is this guy really a re-born Hendrix and this was a missed opportunity to see rock and roll history in the making? If any of you have seen him live on stage please share your experience.

That has to be much worse (I was 4 when he played here - so no chance).

My biggest 'missed opportunity' and it was not even my fault, was in 1975. We had tickets to see Steely Dan at Sheffield City Hall, the gig was called off due to band 'illness'. To this day I have never seen them live.
