I wonder has anyone heard the Street Survivors re-issue and have any thoughts on it. Given that you pick up the original for less than half the price of the re-issue I wondered if it was paying the difference

I personally haven't heard it but a friend of mine is not that impressed and prefers the original US MCA vinyl set.

By the way as a footnote MFSL have just released the hybrid sacd of Pronounced.

Timely question for me Gman as I am pondering the same purchase.  I've been looking for the vinyl locally for a while and just haven't seen it in decent condition.  I'm thinking of taking the plunge on the MFSL only to have a copy before it sells out. On the dark side, the MFSL has the original flaming cover .

I remember buying that LP.  I bought it the day it was released, and of course it was pulled back from the bins just a few days later.

I am hoping to read some reviews of the new cd releases.  Although, it's music that I'd listen to for the nostalgia, but wouldn't cue up often.

I managed to pick up the back catalougue of the albums prior to the band reforming in 1987 on vynill for almost as much as the  price of the Mo-Fi issue ( about £27) . Had such a great time spinning them that I shall no tbother.

As an aside a 200gram issue of Second Helping and Nothin'Fancy by Analougue Productions are scheduled for May.
