Editing Artist on Compiation CDs

Hi

Probably asked before.. but I cannot seem to be able to edit the artist on a various artist cd? Is this possible.. have I failed to search the forum

First make sure you have a tag called Compilation.  Set the value for this to 1.

 

Then I can see no reason why you can't edit the artist name.  I usually set album artist to 'Various Artists', but you could just leave that bit blank
