House cleaning

Time has come to rearrange everything and clean up the snake pit of cables and power cords. I finally replaced my stolen Samsung TV with the new 46"  8000 model, friend came over to set up the prefs and discuss placement and cables. Tom is so amazing with remotes and problem solving, the TV has so many more options he's thinking of selling his TV to a friend and getting one.  My Wifi has been cutting off constantly last month.  He turned off my router for a few minutes in the whole process of tracing cables, when it was back on wifi works perfectly. DUH!!!!

The new TV and the old DVD player both have optical outlets and I'm using RCA, bought new cables and LAN plus longer HDMI from Amazon.  I think those will go directly to the ND5 so much better sound, he also found the Smart TV easily found my Synology 411 so easy access on that.  I'm going to mount the TV on the wall, I know a guy that will be great at that, but pulling out all my kit and cleaning up the dust and clearing out cables will be a major effort.  

LA CA is very dusty,  you don't have that problem in wetter climates.

Hopefully this will all be done next Th/Fri for a good weekend of ultimate media experience.

Have to get a selection of craft beers for after the installation.

Any other suggestions people have?
