Can 230V 60Hz US power supply be used to power NAIM unit?

Yes, but ONLY if the unit is configured for it. You can't just take a 110V unit and plug it into 240V. You need an internal (straightforward) modification that is best done by authorised agents.

Thanks, I meant if 230V NAIM unit can be powered by  240V 60Hz US power supply - two 120 volt 60 Hz live "hot legs" which run in opposing phase to one another: when one hot leg goes "+" (120 volts positive) the other leg goes "-" (120 volts negative).

Not sure. The earthing might be a problem. As might the frequency. Seek professional advice.

For some (Australian) 240v power tools I have in Canada, I occasionally use a plug-in power supply doo-dad that allows the use of the opposite 110V phases as you describe (you need to find two outlets that are on the opposite phases for it to work). It works just fine but it's not something I would use for hifi, without further research though.
