Hi Steven, I'm sorry but I know nothing about winamp! Not sure why you would need or want it on a mac? You can play RP direct from iTunes without it,its in "radio" then "eclectic" but not in 320 kbps.

All you need to do is copy and paste the same as before with "command u" and drag it into playlist on the left where it should stay until it is deleted. When you want to listen just "click" to play!

Hi Andrew, Winamp plays RP @ 320kps but it also shows the history of the artist that is bing played with a lot of extra information, in my opinion its very good, it also shows the bit rate of any music being played, i think anyone using it would be very surprised...sadly these extra bits are not present on the mac version

I had a look at it and it does look good for Windows, I might give J River Media a try when they have ironed out all the mac issues!

I've been using the mac mini for about a year now through a Young M2Tech dac and think its brilliant, recently got rid of the cd player because I wasn't using it. You should give BitPerfect a try,its about 6 quid through iTunes apps and its v good.

Other good sites on set up and info on the mac mini are The LiveLounge and Computer Audiophile, both well worth af ew hours of reading time to optimise the mini for playback.

Sorry,not Live Lounge,I meant Ilounge!

I've connected my mini via optical into my supernait that powers my mk2 Sbls. So far sounding very good. My music is on a external 2tb nas mostly converted to flac. Sounding very good. Will read through the mac ins to optimise the sound output although not sure wether a digital output can be changed. Will have a look though. Thanks for your help

Looks like bit perfect has been withdrawn from iTunes.

Bitperfect is still in the app store!
