He also worked with led zep and muse. Quite an amazing career. Sad that it ended he was only in his 60s so still quite young.

I randomly stumbled on a book of his today at a second hand book store featuring all of his art work for album covers. It includes lots of prototypes and ideas before the final piece which is also very interesting and well worth buying if you can find it.

I interviewed Storm some years ago and he was a fabulously witty, self-deprecating man.
It is a measure of the quality of the man's work and his influence that his passing made the news bulletins and the pages of the national newspapers.
When did that last happen on the death of a graphic designer? Thorgerson was, of course no ordinary graphic designer.

The book that I've got is called the eye of the storm and its very good and well worth purchasing. I'm amazed of how many of my albums he's worked on. I've recently taken to Framing my most precious and fave vinyl albums and division bells is one of my fave of his so far. Does anyone else have this book ? Its leading me to try new music. I'm listening to ween it is quite an eccentric but brilliant group and very well recorded.
