Identity Crisis?

Posted by: Tony2011 on 12 May 2013

Following the recent case of "HE" who shall remain nameless, one thing bugging me lately is why people change identity/profile?!  . Just plain weird even though I still repect them  and  have fond memories of previous incarnation encounters. My tiny neurons  cannot cope with this personality mutation overnight!

PLEASE STOP IT!

Well, I changed mine because I had entered my full name, and preferred to have something more 'pithy' and which reflected my former occupation

It is a bit odd.  Often preceeded by a lengthy flounce out only to return a short while later with a new - but not quite new enough -  identity.

Each to their owns I suppose. G

What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now? What are we going to do now?

"It was only in 1976 that Python was correctly diagnosed as having Multiple Personality Disorder. As well as being Monty, he would introduce himself as Michael, Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Eric, John or Graham. He insisted that all his work was credited to all his personalities and some of them differed so much, involving also a physical metamorphosis that many even believed they were different people."

No military experience at all!

The odd thing is that the cover only lasts until someone says something like "I remember trying to get a double bass in the back of my Volvo" and then it's well and truly blown....

Posted on: 13 May 2013 by Agricola

I'd love to own a double bass or a Volvo!

Hehehe!

"hehehe" - you're blown, George. Nobody else uses that.

P.s. mines a 99.

Best wishes

Mick

You mean that someone called George used to use it?

My goodness. An amazing coincidence, I’d say.

Hoho!

I like it when someone mentions Norway and along he comes wagging his tail to tell out about his auntie (again). It is somehow comforting to know that some things at least never change.

Been offered a Nissan Micra, gratis, and it is taxed and tested for three months.

So no Volvo for me then!

You can still sign off as George. George is a fairly common name, no?

Posted on: 15 May 2013 by Agricola

Very true. But that would be boring ...

Posted on: 15 May 2013 by Agricola

Not your supposed motivation!

If you saw a picture of me, and my avatar give a clue to my Golom-like physic, you would realise this.

Hmm..

So Chief Chirpa and Swami are one and the same?

It won't be long before the swami reveals his own identity I'm sure.

And.. I much preferred my MM identity? Can I have it back?

Posted on: 15 May 2013 by MangoMonkey

Ah, I almost guessed that one. Brand new to the forum with no introduction, but hitting the floor running...

I prefer your MangoMonkey identity as well (much better avatar, though you need to work on its resolution). Yes you can have it back as far as I am concerned. Any chance of that happening as you hit the floor running?

Well I see you are the MangoMonkey once again.  Congratulations!  I only hope you can stay with this identity longer than you do any given Naim amp .  Nait XS forever!
