Experience with Hi Res

Hallo,

has anyone experience with hi res file in comparison to CD Quality?

If yes, please let us know it and the system you have used, the music and the quality of the hi res files.

Is it the price worth?

It's like anything else. The Providence of the source material used is paramount. You can't turn something bad into something good. I have some stunning 24Bit versions of old favourites. And some very good ones. And a few bad ones. If you are considering a particular album(s) you will likely get some feedback here. The Computer Audiophile forum is also a good source of information. And Steve Hofman's to a lesser extent.
