Bob is back on tour in the UK this autumn playing Blackpool Opera House for three nights along with Glasgow Clyde Auditorium and London R.A.H.

I saw him last winter at Santa Barbara bowl, cool and misty night, it was tough to hear half his vocals but his band was incredible and kept my foot tapping because almost everything was a dance rhythm. He changed up his old tunes to match the same sound, I'd go again.

Knopfler's band opened for him. Didn't really excite me tho they had the lights and show glitz.

The first time that I saw Mr D was at the RAH 27 May 1966 with The Hawks which was I think his last gig with them before falling off his motorcycle. I've since seen him many times, and couldn't resist a return to the Albert Hall after 47 years!

Lucky you, the friend I took had seen Dylan when he went to a folk concert with Joan Baez and she brought this shy guy onstage and he mumbled his way thru a few songs. He thought the guy would never amount to anything.
