Disappearing playlists

Posted by: kassos on 29 June 2013

My superuniti linked to Buffalo NAS works fine most of the time. However if I put together a playlist on my PC using JRiver and then export it to the NAS, SU reads it and plays it fine until I (rarely) switch off the SU and the NAS (away on holiday) and then when i come back and switch everything back on the SU does not read the file as a playlist. It lists it By Folder as a Filename(*), and not as a playlist. I export the file as .m3u simple playlist file.

I am mystified as to why it works fine until I power off.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in anticipation of some help.

This may be an issue with JRiver as I've recently installed it and tried making a playlist using n-stream on my i-pad. It happily lets me create and name a playlist and will add files to it but I can't find the playlist anywhere in the n-stream app. Perhaps one of the more experienced JRiver users here may have the answer.

Silly me just realised that the created playlists are on a toggle with the play queue. Doh!

Thanks I don't think it is a JRiver issue because it all works fine until I do a "Restart".
