a very specific question: i love Jesse Cook type of music, but cannot find other similar artists... ant advice on CDs or artists to explore?

That's a coincidence. Don't know who Jesse Cooke is, but just heard him on Radio Paradise. Made a mental note to investigate his music.
He reminded me of Paco de Luca.

Have a listen to Antonio Forcione. Some of his tracks are in the same style as JC
