Knowing that a NS01 is simply a simplified HDX, is it possible to do the upgrade/conversion of a NS01 to an NS01 SSD? In a perfect world, i would like to upgrade it to a NS01 NDX, that works on the Naimnet/Netstreams system. This as I store all the music on a NAS server.

We don't offer the SSD upgrade for NS01 in the US (which you recently purchased last year, if I recall correctly) inasmuch as there are no grounds for it within the context of a NaimNet / DigiLinX system.
The UnitiServe-SSD provides sufficient resources to drive your streaming system (if your plan is to migrate all of your music off the device), is less expensive and provides a BNC output on the rear (which cannot be fitted to the NS01). It's also half the size and utilizes a re-designed HD PCI audio card.
You may also be confused, inasmuch as the NDX is a UPnP-based streamer, not a StreamNet device–it is closer to the Uniti family of products in this regard.
