On my Comptia A+ course they trained us to assemble and disassemble in around 20 minutes. After an afternoons practice my poor eyesight and I could assemble in 15 minutes. I suspect that once you've tried a few different form factors, power supplies and cases it would be fairly easy to do 10 minutes.

At $85 an hour, I prefer to draw it out for several hours.

To make it work, in about 15 minutes here. But to do a neat job, triple up that time.

The place where I'm loosing the most time on is at installing that &*%E$ I/O ports plate without cutting a finger or prying it.

It's so easy now with the jumperless boards. I remember a time when you had to select the bus speed and CPU bus multiplier with dip switches. Now you simply throw the CPU in the socket, install the heatsink and et voilĂ !

Bye.
