Football season 2013-2014

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.
My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.
Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Oh, Sky has just been spouting out the game's stats. Apparently Spurs didn't have a single shot on target. Yes, zero. A first for Spurs at home since these records began says Sky. Dropping Defoe for the game was clearly a master-stroke then.
Looks like Liverpool are causing Spurs some embarrassment at WHL. Spurs Champions League contenders, really?
Just watched the BBC news 0-5 is the latest score. Bet that puts a smile on Kevins face !!!

Well, I am more than mildly pleased Mista. Takes the edge off our own travails, and Borgen finishing.
Watched the game on the telly. There was no smile on AVB's face at the final whistle. Bet there wasn't on Levy's either.
MDS
Levy's face was a picture. God help AVB now.
Just had a look at the Spurs website.......Spurs man of the Match......their GK Lloris, had a great game to keep the score down to 0-5.....Luv it.
Looking ahead to next week the Big fat dutch man could be picking up Steve Clarke and AVB when they go to sign on. It will save them on petrol and parking charges.

Spuds fans are such bellends. Go to any of their forums, and they are talking about their next manager. They seem to imagine that Laudrup will leave Swans, Martinez Everton and Pochettino Southampton to join their shabby club.
Hilarious!
Dear Arfur smellysocks
The big fat bald headed Dutchman is available and could start next week. Guy has not got a clue how to sort out defending, but he is free.

Just so long as the big fat Dutchman doesn't end up with the Hammers it's just too similar to our existing big fat Dudleyman
I do think AVB would struggle to find another job with a 'big' UK team at the mo'. He's not covered himself in glory over here and might be better of licking his wounds back on the Iberian peninsula for a while...
I share a little delight in Spurs undoing. While I generally support London teams against the opposition, Spurs fans have been getting on my wick for a while now and are so 'Holier than thou...' that a good kick in the nuts seems most welcome.
+1 Jamie.
' that a good kick in the nuts seems most welcome.
It's a fine antidote to illusions of grandeur
Well AVB's got the boot...
From what I heard on the radio maybe we should be commenting a bit on how good Liverpool were? Suarez appears to be on fire but it sounded like the whole team played really well.
As for Spurs-all the pundits at the start of the seasone nreckoned they had spent the Bale income wisely and might actually be stronger without him as a result. Pundits-ha!
Just had a look at the Spurs website, which states........The club have reached agreement with AVB for the termination of his services. Nice wording.
Why dont they come clean and say.....We have kicked the Tosser into touch.

Chelsea owner caving in to player power, Levy and Baldini, having to play a midfielder at centre back; not the best places to be, but AVB didn't help himself:
Picking Naughton, Lennon offers little going forward and no cover for the defender, few crosses for Soldado because there is too much cutting in, and playing a high line with Dawson after Terry.
It is a mix of AVB, Levy and Baldini, but the manager carrys the can.
Cheers,
OW
What a game! Came back from a goal down to mash the Spuds at their place - again! LOVE YOU WEST HAM!!!
Well done West Ham. I'm beginning to feel just a little sorry for Spurs, but only a little.

Steve, save your energies. Spuds ain't worth it.
Sack Tim Sherwood
Can we play you every week?...............luvly
I didn't go to the Stoke v United game - and we won again. Probably won't now go to Hull on Boxing Day.
Will still go to Olypiakos away though - well probably
Great result for West Ham tonight!
Bet our Kevin had the odd half of shandy last nite !!................and a sore head this morning.
Great result.

According to Aunty Beeb Malky Mckay has been told to resign or get sacked at Cardiff. There ain't half some bonkersness in the once beautiful game

Goodness me. If true that would be mad. But then isn't the owner someone who insisted that the 'Bluebirds' change the colour of their shirts to red because that is a lucky colour in the Orient?
