Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Did you see the poor West Ham lad in tear being consoled by his dad after Forest's third goal went in.... I so glad I never pushed my kids into supporting the Hammers,I couldn't put them through what I've been going through for the last 45 years

Well Kev, she doesn't really come across as much of a foreplay-girl, does she !?  Enjoy Peter

I am OK thanks Mista. Have returned from the pub, but the general feeling is that this fat arrogant clown has to go, and quickly.

He is now unbelievably loathed by the WHU fan community - and that video of him grinning after today's pasting isn't going to improve matters - and if we lose to Citeh then Cardiff and by some miracle he's still in charge for the home game against the Barcodes in a couple of weeks I suspect there will be trouble.

The arrogant gum-masticating cnut is probably just waiting for his big fat compo payoff but if he had any dignity, guts, honour or balls he would resign forthwith.

i see West Ham are intent on making the poor lad suffer even more by giving him and his family complementary tickets in the directors box, i just pray they choose a game we win

Could be worse for the lad, His Dad could be a man u fan, think of the years of dssapointment and talk of the "glory years" he would have to suffer as they slowly but surely settle into mid table obscurity ,,

That made me chuckle......big Sam gets my vote for a move to Man U

Seems that Big Sam has the backing from the owners for the weekend's debacle.  In other words the club is saying 'we don't give a toss about the FA cup'.  I thought the FA had some rules about clubs fielding weakened teams. WHU isn't the first club to have done this but isn't about time the FA showed some balls here for the good of the game and the fans who follow it?

David Moyes is sitting in a bar with Mourinho, Wenger and Rodgers

Moyes steps up to the bar and buys a round of drinks for everyone

Then it's Jose's turn who does likewise, followed by Arsene.

When Brendan returns from the bar he brings a drink for himself and the managers of Chelsea and Arsenal but not David Moyes

"Hey! Where's mine?" asks David.

"Sorry David" replies Brendan, "It's the fourth round and you're not in it..."

I agree, but can't see how they can after letting Man U pull out of the competition some years back

But at least Man U did it transparently.  This fielding reserve/youth team thing is dishonest, almost approaching match-fixing.

Just catching up on my reading. The Daily mail(fab paper) says that the bongo brothers have fined your NAIMsake £100k.

For Manchester United, the 2013/14 season was his transition years. Ferguson left, he took a downturnManchester United on the left of the original basic, less offensive combat.

yeah but it still devalues the competition, as for match fixing the english cricket team fielded a full strength side and look what happened there, if that had been pakistan all hell would have broke loose

I see in today's papers that Moyes is being given £200,000 by the Glasers to rebuild Man United over the next 12 months. I hate to think who he'll buy.  Maybe the rest of the Everton team.

Posted on: 07 January 2014 by Kevin-W

Gotta say, the Sunderland boys played a blinder!

Posted on: 07 January 2014 by MDS

Man U looks very ordinary again, though. Rafael lucky to avoid a second yellow, too.

£200,000 Steve? That's not going to buy you much! Perhaps Moyes will blow it on a Statement amp!

£200,000 maybe enough to buy Johnny Heitinga, although apparently West ham are after him. Should slot into either team without a problem.
