Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Snitch!

To be fair, I didn't call him a turd, I called him a fat turd.

Interesting that even his mates in the media are beginning to wake up and have started criticising him. Not as trenchantly as the long-suffering fans though.

Yeah it was Rotherham, the football ground in the middle of a scrapyard.

Glen 'my brain hurts' Roeder(poor sod)

Avram' I'm like a pringle tube and have to go to massage parlours' (Allegedly) Grant

And now, Sam 'The Turd' Allardyce.

Oh fookin joy!

So would that make you guilty of being fatist or turdist, or both?

Or even a 'fattist'.

I stand corrected, Sir.

Chris Dolan, our resident pedant, hasn't been around much lately so I have to try and maintain his high standards.

Well I can understand Chris keeping a low profile given Man U's current woes but I thought pedant duties would fall to Nigel the Hungry Hallibut?

Very true. Maybe if Man U get a result against Swansea we'll hear from him.

Welcome back Chris.

I hope it's not 4 losses in a row for Utd this weekend.

My God that was a superb performance from the Hammers. Magnificent, particularly as we only had 10 men for much of the second half!

No need for Nolan now, Noble is our inspirational captain!

Where did that come from....only west ham can play with your emotions like this, I'm going to enjoy this .....you never know when the next wins going to come along

Listened to radio 5 live commentary(is this not the most stressful way to listen to a backs to the wall game?) and it was like a lifetime of following The Hammers concentrated into one game.

Unfookinbelievable.

Hello  - I didn't go to Old Trafford today as I have a very early start tomorrow and might not have arrived home before I needed to leave

Chelski away next week - so bloody good job that we are out of the FA Cup (Michael Mouse springs to mind anyway).

Interesting half time score in the COC with Sunderland - apparently they did very well today too.

Fair play to WHU today, you did well to get all the points after the ref finally found his cards.

We looked more nervous than you did and you took advantage of that. OGS is going to have to get his act together very quickly if we're not going to go straight back down.

Watching your team play made me a little sad as I remember you as a good side. Be interesting to see if you can ever recover your reputation as a good footballing side after the Sam years end.

Hopefully Alan Green was not involved - he sucks the joy out of life.

A heated game at Newcastle today. Newcastle's equalising goal should have stood but they should have had 2 red cards in the second half. Them's the breaks, although I hope not for Nasri who was stretchered off. I like Pellegrini's managerial style, he's one cool dude.

I agree Tiote's goal should have stood, a stunning shot. You can understand why managers get frustrated with officials' inconsistency on these offside decisions. Man C had the rub-of-the-green e.g. with their second goal. That said, I thought Newcastle were more bluster and effort than craft and the right side won.
