Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

No - I don't do the away trips as the police in many of the English cities seem to view a visit of Cardiff as an opportunity for legal hooliganism on their behalf. I'm too old to be treated like cattle.

I was about to disagree with you - but then realised that your comments pretty much mirrored why I am not going to the away game in the Champions League against Olympiakos

Well I've got a spare tickets in the Streford End - so long as you wear RED  - sorry

I don't believe you're sorry at all  Thanks for the offer but I'd only be confused as to who to support - my beloved Man Utd mark 2 or the team playing in red.

Watched our game with Sheffield united yesterday ,played on a pitch that was a disgrace, more mud than grass. Whats unusual about that you may ask ? Just had a look at the sufc website which congratulates their groundsman, the FA having awarded him with having the 2nd best pitch in League1......all i can say is what the fcuk are the others like!!

Off to jolly old Swansea tomorrow, dont know why but one of my favourite away trips with a very good fish & chip shop over the road from the ground.

Well done Palace - 5 points clear of the relegation places. Pulis could pull it off, yet.

And my lot won....with a clean sheet.......away....I can barely believe it!

After last nites showing at swansea you can stick FFC down for one of the 3 drop spots. We were dire, and frigging Berbatov should  be shot for his total lack of interest

And to cap off a dreadfull evening at 2.30am this morning whilst driving back i failed to spot a gatso. Got flashed doing 60 in a 30 zone,so i aint gonna be flavour of the month.

Quite honestly you should be shot doing 60 in a 30 zone. No excuse regardless of the time.

Would not do it as a norm, not another car or person about. They were all tucked up in bed which is where i should have been. Long strait stretch of road in L B Sutton.

This sounds too serious to be dealt with by ticket alone.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were summonsed and dealt with by Magistrates. There's also a possibility of a driving ban.

On a lighter note this made me laugh.

Went to see my old man in his Care home in Purley today as we had a meet with an NHS district nurse as the govt pay 109 quid a week towards care costs.

Nurse is going thru his notes and says to him,i see you like watching football !! Yes says my old man,but i dont get to see hardly any these days. Nurse says to him,oh i am sorry is that because your now in this home. NO says my old man its because i support Fulham.

You can't possibly know if there wasn't another person like you out at that time in another street, but doing the speed limit pulling into your street thinking you might not be doing TWICE the speed limit.

As I said NO excuse.

I`m a big boy H.if i get done, and i probably will i`ll just have to take my punishment. Just let me say in my defence that  during the day i am probably one of the slowest drivers on the road and i`m not joking i just poodle round. Not had an accident in probably 40yrs. You also state i was pulling into my street, wrong. Gatso was in SUTTON,i live in CROYDON.

Blimey! Some heroic defending to nick a point at Chelsea's gaff, plus the Spuds getting mashed 5 - 1 at Shite Hart Lane.

Me happy.

Well done West Ham. City now on top where they belong. Looking forward to next Monday when Chelsea visit the Etihad. Bad news about Aguero though.

An excellent and probably unexpected point at the Bridge, Kevin, but that feeling must be tinged with Sunderland's win pushing you into the bottom 3?

Kevin

From now on i shall refer to you as YOLF......Yee Of Little Faith. I said you should trust Mista Sam.

I did tell you last week to have trust in fat Sam. Suggest you sit down this morning and write him a very, very nice letter saying how sorry you are in slagging him off.

The Special One was thoroughly pee'd off with Sam in his post match interview. Tough tittie. Sam got the job done last night.

Respect to Tim Sherwood for his reaction to losing 5-1. Rather than criticising some dubious refereeing decisions, like most managers ATM, he rightly heaped praise on City describing them as "from another planet". Spurs may not be one of my favourite teams but the Premiership needs more managers like him.

Just been speaking to my son in law(Chelsea STH),not a happy bunny after last nite......tough

He`s going up to City for their next game and reckons Jose will probably do the same at City as West Ham did last nite.....pack the defence and try and him em on the break.

Mista h

Posted on: 30 January 2014 by Steve J

What a hypocrite Jose is. I agree he'll do the same as he did at Man United where he fielded a 10 man defence with no striker. Boy, did he moan about West Ham's tactics last night but I loved Big Sam's response at the press conference.
