Football season 2013-2014

Posted by: mista h on 16 August 2013

As tomorrow the silly season starts all over again i thought i would start up this new thread so that followers of this stupidly rich game could have a say in anything Footie related. So if you want to have a moan or sing the praises about anything related would love to know about it.

My own moan is that lazy git Berbatov has carried on the way he ended last season. Watched him in our 2 home PSFs.He hardly broke sweat.

Also got to shake hands with our new Billionaire Chairman(Mr Khan),a friendly guy who appears to have trouble finding a barber shop

Over the moon Senderos has gone, guy was a total and utter tosser. He always gave 100% which i like to see in a player, but he was not of Premiership quality.

Also good to see that lazy, sulky git Berbatov go. However i think we may have left it a tad to late to avoid the drop.

Well, at least Man U has secured the 40 points that usually means a team is safe from relegation!

Well they would be wrong - had we not been stronger we would have lost by more - obviously.

The Mancs and the Spuds could have done us a favour by winning today (can't rely on those two do anything right ), but still, that was a convincing and deserved win by the Irons this afternoon.

Hippo Head has to appeal Carroll's red card - undeserved after a bit of disgraceful cheating by Flores, who has form in this regard.

Indeed, but I'll be amazed if it's overturned, he's not Alan Shearer.

Please do.  Maybe an outside chance of the Europa league.

Ah, if it's moved to some other minority TV channel I could well have missed it, Chris.  The Europa League is so boring I stopped watching it long ago.

If I was Moyes I'd try and make sure United don't make the Europa league. All those long away trips on a Thurday and little time to prepare for the weekend fixtures.

Atlanta St just over Fulham Palace Rd was perfect. Only the £10 to park in one pound coins caught me out. That, and J-Rod's goal but the 'cele' was nice.

True - even Liverpool supporters have stopped watching. I think it is now on ITV4 - but not 100% sure

I think second is now more likely than first - but you never know  There are other ways to avoid the Europa League anyway.

I expect though that Citeh will miss being in it shortly

Just watched the Stoke v MU game on MoTD.  United had bad luck losing two defenders to injury early on, Adam's first goal was a massive deflection (second pretty special) and hitting the post in injury time.  Moyes right to feel unlucky.

Thought Mata's pass to put VP though for United goal was classy. Could be a sign of things to come from that pairing.

Chris,

I can see maths isn't your strongest skill.

It's been a few years now since we were in the Europa league. All forgotten thanks.

It looks like Moyes will break another record soon. One more loss will equal United's most ever losses in a season, and there's room for plenty more.

It must be very frustrating being a United supporter at the moment.

Two seasons I think - but only beacuse Citeh came bottom of their Champions' League group last season
